STANDARDS OF CONDUCT
All students are expected to live a life that adorns the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Students will have 3 questions per course to be answered with at least 300 words each and must complete a 20,000 word thesis at the end of the program.

UNIT ONE
Dynamics of Spiritual Life
This course gives a history of spiritual renewals in light of
biblical models. Isolating the elements of live orthodoxy,and proposes a
comprehensive approach to renewal. It also looks at such practical
issues as renewal of the local congregation, the ways revivals go wrong,
the evangelical thrust toward church unity, and Christian approaches to
the arts and to social concern. It helps the student in efforts to revitalize
the church.
Making Friends and Making Them Count
This course explores the art of friendship, it discusses what attracts one
person to another, how self-concept affects relationships, how people
form first impressions, and what ingredients make for lasting
friendships.
The World Religions
This course provides an excellent introduction to religions of the world. Each faith is
clearly and objectively described along with its history, scriptures,
worship, beliefs, and practices.
Biblical Basis of Christian
Counseling
This course
will guide you to a practical, working knowledge of Scripture and the
basics of the Christian faith - the core of what Christian counselors must
know to be truly effective in helping others.
UNIT TWO
Leadership Challenge
This course is based upon learning from leaders at all
levels--and shows how "regular people" can make a huge, positive
difference in their organizations. It is written in a way that can help
executives, mid-managers, first-line supervisors, project leaders--and
even individual contributors--better understand how they can lead--and
be able to immediately apply what they have learned in their work.
Christian Spirituality
This
course brings together scholars representing Lutheran, Reformed,
Wesleyan, Pentecostal, and contemplative positions to debate
sanctification and spirituality, so that the student will have a wide
range of views and understanding of the topic of sanctification.
A Theology of Liberation
This
course provides a powerful, compassionate and radical look at
liberation theology, which mixes politics and religion in an explicit
manner. It invites students examine the agenda of this theology as it
relates to giving "good news to the
poor", and redeeming God's people from bondage.
Effective Biblical Counseling
This course will show you how to help people achieve obedience and
character growth in their lives, and establish a sense of personal worth
and security along the way.
